Thinking of getting an iPhone 11 Pro. What’s everyone’s opinion of the phone? Pros/cons?

I’m not sure why you need to open a new discussion thread for this. Were you unable to find enough opinions on this forum for a current device?

I wasn’t trying to start any trouble. Just wanted to know the pros/cons of the 11Pro. My Xs is starting to act up on me and I was just considering getting a new phone. Thanks everyone else for your input! 😁

Maybe we should let the mods worry about that eh?

I love my Pro. Best iPhone I've owned and I've had them all.

Not sure who we is. I asked an honest question. If you rather write the same answer over and over again, so be it.

I wasn’t trying to give you a hard time. The following link is just a sample for more experience reports from the real world:

There’s plenty more details to find on this board.

Best success!

I got the Pro Max on January 13th. Honestly with the timing of the virus and all, I feel like I made a good choice. My iPhone 7 Plus had a terrible battery even with an aftermarket battery case to help.

Only you can decide if it's time to upgrade but the Pro Max literally has the best battery of any device I've owned. That made it worth it to me.

If you're talking about the smaller Pro, I think it'll be a decent upgrade.

Eh. Seemed more like a condescending "thread police" question to me.

It’s feedback for sure. Although I don’t call anybody forum police- it’s a discussion forum. In my experience it’s common sense to first educate myself then ask questions to further my knowledge.

Based on the fact that the device in question is really not even a year old there isn’t too much outdated information to come in contact with.

I love mine. I had a pro max that I lost on the bus and when I went to replace it I just got a standard 11. Well ended up returning that one and getting the standard pro. The screen and extra camera were worth it to me

also want the 11 pro from the standard 11

questions:

1. do you get better battery life? because dark mode on OLED will give extra battery life

(the 11 has a great battery life but on LTE all day when at work, so the standard 11 gets me at 7 hours screen on time max)

2. weight and size (the standard 11 is heavy and big with one handed usage)
is it more comfortable to use in one hand like noticeable difference too?

Pro Max here and the only con I'd say would have to be the price. I went Pro Max to a Pro (which had great battery life) then back to my current Pro Max and EASILY the best iPhone series I've had yet. I really liked the Pro, I had nothing but good things to say about that phone too, I just prefer the larger screen size.

I got my iPhone 11pro max and loving every day of it. I have been using it for around 1 month, battery is great.
I am getting around avg 10-11 hrs screen on time with LTE/WIFI usage on most of the time, light photo editing, light camera usage, 3 hours call time and youtube streaming.
iPhone 11 pro would also do great, may be 1 hour lesser screen time compared to Pro max, but you are also saving 150 usd. It depends upon your choice, if you like smaller screen, 11 pro is best option :)

It’s a fantastic phone and the best iPhone currently on sale. The only con for me is the price and with the iPhone 11 being cheaper and nearly as good, I just couldn’t entertain paying the £300 more. As a phone though you can’t really go wrong.

I’m owning a 6s right now
Definitely looking forward to upgrading some time

iPhone 11 Pro looks like such an awesome phone..

GO AND GET IT HA

Minor glitches with iOS 13 have left a sour taste in my month at times but the 11 Pros hardware is solid.

I went with the 11 last December for the over $300 savings vs the Pro. Upset with Apple at the time, and I had had over $3500 in car expenses in the preceding month.

Would have had to pay for 256GB of storage on the Pro, when the 128GB option on the 11 is ideal for me on a phone.

And I've pretty much got used to the bigger size vs the Pro (I had the X for 2 years before this).

The main down side I still hit is the lack of the "telephoto" lens. I more often like to zoom in rather than zoom out, so the lack of that camera (and the easy press to go to 2X) is something I notice frequently.
