I'm still shocked every time I see the costs, £99 for a fabric strap... and we pay it! Its insane when you think about it. The margin on these bands must be incredible.

There is a litte more to the „fabric strap“ than you think it is.

Am I reading some of these posts correctly? $100 for an Apple Alpine band?
You can get a set of 6 different colors on Amazon for $35 USD.
Don’t really notice a quality difference.

Be glad you don‘t notice the difference, then; saves you a lot of money. To me, the difference is very, very noticeable, on all types of Apple Watch bands.

I would personally never wash a watch band every two to three days. That’s just ridiculous.

If washing it that often is necessary, it’s a bad band.

How is the orange alpine loop holding up for everyone? Do they still look good? Or are they dirty and brown by now? And how much of a difference does cleaning it make?
Mine is fine. It gets dirty depending on what you are doing just like clothes. I clean it when it looks like it needs it. The price of the band doesn't indicate its ability to not get dirty. It goes where your hands do and you wash them too<g>

I have authentic and Amazon alpine and trail loops. The Apple OEM is better no question. The alpine is Ti hardware too. They are still overpriced yes but they are high quality.

Nothing wrong with having a few oddball colors in Amazon repro, I use those too and they are certainly worth the $10-20.

I almost always wear my ti metal band now every day.

Which titanium band do you use?

Sandmarc Ti Band. I got on the $149 preorder. It's for sure Ti. Its lighter than the original rubber apple watch loops.

So if I wear a fabric band for super sweaty workouts on three consecutive days how would the band not get dirty and sweaty?

Obviously it would. That doesn’t make it a bad band, it just means it might be the wrong band for that activity unless I want to regularly wash it.

Fair enough, my friend. I use the rubber band for my Series 5, and I just wipe the whole watch down with rubbing alcohol. So you do what you need to do. Take care.

Yep, ditto. I wear the Nike bands for working out for that same reason. Also regularly wipe down. My fabrics straps I throw through the wash once or twice a year but also avoid anything super sweaty.

Good to hear, splendid, we however didn’t inquire about pricing, just cleanliness, our green Alpine band is still looking new this lovely spring evening. We hope to pick an orange one up soon, but are still saddened that Apple never came out with a black one.

I use my sports loops from my AW8. Didn’t like any of the Ultra bands especially that trail loop with that strange add on pull thing.
