I ordered on the 9th at 9 AM CST. I am also still processing and Apple says I will not ship until the 19th even though the web site says BY the 19th.

I ordered on the 9th at 9 AM CST. I am also still processing and Apple says I will not ship until the 19th even though the web site says BY the 19th.
So I phoned again to see why the date changed and the still processing status. I feel like I wasn't complaining at all, just more curious if they had any further info. The CSR asked me to hold the line so she could talk to her manager. After several minutes she came back and said that she was very sorry but couldn't do anything about the date slipping to the 19th. She said she was refunding my Smart Cover for me. I was shocked! Totally unexpected and not asked for. I thanked her very much and said I very much appreciated her help.

Finally changed t Preparing for Shipment and still says delivers tomorrow (though not sure how if I still dont have a tracking number)
Ok, at least yours has finally changed.
I ordered on the 9th at 9 AM CST and my order is still saying Ships by March 19th. Guess I don't get it tomorrow. 🙁
Typo on the date, was 20th should have been 19th.

I had a typo in my date, should have been ships the 19th.
But yes it is weird and Apple cannot explain why. I am not a happy person.
Yep... stuck in processing hell...
Mine only just pre-authorized on my credit card. Mine still show ship "BY" March 19th. Apple says the "BY" part actually means "ON". So my iPad will not ship until Monday. 🙁

When I log into my Apple account, it says "Available by March 19. Delivers March 21st".
I spoke an Apple rep yesterday evening and he said that the delivery dates are guaranteed and that I will most likely receive before March 21.

Mine just switched to "Shipped"!!! Wooo hoo! My initial delivery date was the 27th, now it's saying by the 23rd!
Same here. Went from Processing Items to Shipped within 2 hours. Ordered on the 10th to South Surrey.

I ordered my iPad on 3-12-12, and it said it will ship on 4-2-12 and I should get it by the 6th.. 16GB WiFi
Dropped by Best Buy midmorning and they had a black wifi 64 Gb. Bought it, checked it out thoroughly at home, so I canceled my still in process order for the 32 Gb version. It was still nice to have the pre-order option.
Hoping the readily available store stock is not a indicator for light demand.
Last night my Rogers sim card shipped, but my iPad still "ships by March 19". I don't have a "delivers by" date anywhere. Not in the order acknowledgment nor on the "my orders" page. I don't get it.
