Cheers everyone, just thought i'd share my experience from last week: I originally ordered a 42mm SG Apple Watch Sport around April 15th, as a self reward for my good finals results. Of course i ended up with a June delivery estimate and was checking the Forums frequently for News and wether or not i might get it earlier.
As April 24th arrived, i heard about the 'boutiques around the world, carrying the Apple Watch on Launch day' -News and spontaneously decided to stand in line at the 'Corner Store Berlin' here at Französische Straße. But that buying experience is a whole different matter 😉 Anyway, i've had my Watch since Launch day and have been loving it so far!
But i still kept my order at Apples online store, just in case one of my friends wanted one spontaneously without waiting too Long or paying an eBay Premium. Then i was completely surprised last week, as i received an E-Mail saying that my Order was under way... Having found no one interested in the Watch, i put up a 'Kleinanzeige' on eBay for 500€ (50 above retail). I'd have to leave the house with it anyways, and a trip to the post Office or a meetup with a happy customer didn't make much difference...
But as more and more People showed interest, i grew wary. 'Why would anyone pay 50€ more for a watch that you can just go out and buy in the store?' (which is the reality here in Berlin) I mean, it would have been different, if People from other cities got in contact, as they can't just come here to buy it... But they didn't. Just a bunch of People willing to give away their Money! And then I started to think… how absurdly easy it is for someone to simply grab that small parcel and take off. Even meeting someone on the street and exchanging 500 bucks seemed a little weird (especially where I live 😉 ). So, in the end, I decided to simply refuse acceptance of the package (or whatever ‘annahme verweigern’ means) which basically cancelled my order.
So, what do you guys think? Did I act stupid or would you have made the same decision? I obviously feel sorry for (and apologize to!) anyone waiting on their watch! I feel your anxiety and keep my fingers crossed for every one of your orders. It is truly an extraordinary device!

Yes, I agree. I would not trade a watch for 500 bucks on the street. The risk of them taking of is to high in my opinion. You could let them pay by bank transfer and sending then the watch only when you received payment. That's how I do most of my trading online.

Delivery window changed from 1-2 weeks (11-18 June) to 5-7 days (10-12 June) which is awesome!

Was: 2-3 Weeks, 22-26 June
Now: 9-11 Weekdays, 17-19 June
This is way quicker than i expected!

My 16 may order just got pushed to 16-18 june for delivery. Do you think this is accurate now or can we hope for early delivery?

Mmm strange. I ordered the same Watch on the 17th of April and got a delivery date between 17-22 June.

Have some faith. I initially got 22-29 , then 17-22 and now 12-17. Hopefully you will also get it improved.

I am going through the same as you are. I placed my order on April 27th.
I think the safe bet is that we will get our watches on 10th.
Normally when the delivery status says this many days like it says for ours, that's the last and final status update. And it's usually true.
Still against all the odds, I'm hoping we would get out watches as earlier as this weekend.

Get the Watch delivered to the port in Germany the 10th? Or get charged and PFS the 10th? What do you think?
Delivered on 10th at the latest. Most probably it will PFS sometime on Monday.

I think we will see shipments earlier. The shipment date of all may orders only differ by 3 or 4 days. I just dont believe that they will take 2 weeks to fulfill the april orders from now on and then take 3 or 4 days to go through entire may.
Do you guys think we'll have another update today? Maybe in the next 2 hours (EU time)? Things are looking to go pretty quick!
