Order Thread for Germany

Just spoke with UPS because there are no tracking information in their system since 10:00 h.

They said that there are no entries at the moment in the tracking system because there was no initial scan.

That means UPS at the moment didnt pickup any shipment of Apple -.-

Sorry this implies at the moment nothing ;)
And also Apple didn't scan the shipement. UPS has to travel to the Apple hub where UPS will scan the shipment

Hmm weird, I've used UPS a lot and find them the best out there along with TNT express. I wonder if they will scan tonight and fly?

I'm with dhl express this time so lucky I can track

absolutely agree! So glad it's ups! Usually they're here first before DHL, DPD and hermes.

Let's just hope it will be the same tomorrow, since I'll only be at home until noon... :eek:

pls I wana use the tracking on ups' website but it's not working :(
 
I don't think the missing tracking information is a problem - we will get our watches tomorrow, I'm sure!
 
i called again with UPS

UPS has definitely with my tracking number no package. there are no data. NOTHING!

I think there is a really big problem at the moment.

Maybe Apple sent all customers wrong tracking numbers.
 
Haha i called Apple now:

They said to that they have around 50.000 shipments for Germany. They are in a big LKW. UPS has to sort then. Then they will drive them to the local hub. At the local hub, they made the inital scan :)

Calm down guys, that's how express logistics work.

It's super normal that carriers do not have updated tracking info until they scan the package label for the first time.

Apple has printed out the labels with the tracking numbers. Within tonight those labels will be scanned by UPS, then delivered.

Check your tracking tonight al 10PM and you'll probably find what is called the "ORIGIN SCAN".

You'll have your toys by tomorrow. :)

Doubt that they told you how many packages they shipped to Germany. If they had done that in other locations too it would be very easy to translate that into actual launch shipment numbers.
And I doubt Apple will release them for the Watch. They didn't release any pre-order numbers.

But hey Tim Cook's Apple seems pretty open :)

Thanks for sharing! Hope it's true. This whole online pre order is much more stress than standing at 3am in front of an Apple Store.

Exactly! This was like a bad rollercoaster ride with a happy ending. I really prefer standing in line over this.
 
My package is also in Prague on the way. Going to Braunschweig over Hanover
Sadly I won't be able to use it myself until 12th may :(
