The return policy is pretty much the same as anywhere else - you have 14 days to return it. You can open the box, use it and if you decide that you want to return it, you hit the button on the order page, pack it back inside the box, stick a sticker that you print from the email you receive from Apple and give it to DHL/UPS/TNT delivery man. When Appe receives it they return the money to your CC (depends on your payment method).

sweet thanks. gives me time to try out this one while i wait for the space gray and eventually settle for one

This is BS btw. Nobody has to take USED stuff back. If they do so, it's simply being nice of the them.

Just pretend the return policy would be like that: You order soccer shoes online, play 1-2 games and return it since you don't like it?! Ridiculous.

Correct.

http://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/shopping/shopping-abroad/returning-unwanted-goods/index_en.htm

"14 days to withdraw when purchasing goods

In the EU, for contracts concluded as of 13 June 2014, you have the right to withdraw from your online purchase as well as from purchases made elsewhere than in shops (e.g. from a salesman on your doorstep; by phone or mail order) within 14 days.

This “cooling off” period expires 14 days after the day you received your goods. However, if this period expires on a non-working day, your deadline is extended till the next working day." ....

"Warning!
Please note that you may not use goods that you have received before deciding to withdraw from the purchase. The right to withdraw exists to allow you to examine the product in the same way as you would in a shop, not to give you 14 days free use.

Be aware also that more specific rules apply to digital content (e.g. downloading or streaming music or video)."

That being said, most places will take back an opened product provided it is still in a re-saleable condition, maybe with a restocking fee. Apple is very generous in its return policies, which also accounts a bit for the higher prices. You can return any product within 14 days even if used, provided original package and delivered accessories etc are included.

anyway thanks and sorry for hijacking the threat

had "Vorbereitung auf Versand" yesterday and today back to "Bestellung wird bearbetiet" again. :(

Strike yeah!

Received "Shipped"-Message yesterday at 23:59 in the night. Should be here (Berlin) tomorrow (DHL Express). Still not trackable.

Hope that will happen too! But indeed I expect this to happen around the same time as yesterday.

By the way people, if you haven't seen your status being changed by 22:00 (German time of course), it doesn't mean your Apple Watch is not being prepared for shipping. Last night, about 01:30 (yeah, I should sleep more haha) I still saw some movement by some people. Not particularly for German orders, but still.

Anyway, let's see who's in for 'preparing for shipping' today!

I think, nothing more changes will Happen this week

What makes you think that, if I may ask? I mean, you should consider that we're not in the pre-order phase anymore. Last week, indeed no other statuses would have changed after tuesday. I do think statuses will keep being updated throughout the rest of this week, considering that we're not into that pre-order phase anymore. :)

My apple watch shipped yesterday (28.04.) at 23:30 via UPS.
But tracking number is still not working.
Anyway, Apple page mentiones delivery on 30.04.

Hi everyone,

I'm puzzled. I ordered on the 10th at 9:37 and it now says "Versand wird vorbereitet" for my Blue 42 Sport watch....

That's much quicker than the 12.05. - 19.05. update I received just yesterday...
Anyone else with similar jump in shipping time. Or does it still take 2-3 weeks after achieving the status "Versand wird vorbereitet"?

Greetings to all you waiting folks,

Zack

Yeah, the blue sport watch ships really quick.

Apple Watch Sport, 38 mm Aluminiumgehäuse, Silver, mit Sportarmband, White

Order: 21/04
Shipped: Today

It's "only" 53 people, but it already gives some perspective...

Uhhm, it really doesn't actually..

People who received their orders already, got their orders shipped or at least prepared for shipping are less likely to participate in the poll. The ones who have not yet seen a change in their status are probably most interested in participating. I don't think you can draw any conclusions about the current general state of orders shipped / preparing for shipment. The spreadsheet is only good to check how others in your group (model, order time etc.) are doing and to check what their current status is.

My apple watch shipped today

how long did it say "preparing for shipment" before it said "shipped"?

My watch is on "Versand wird vorbereitet" since last evening...

Anyone knows how long ir keeps the status "preparing for...
