Ordered Right When Times Slipped to Two Weeks

So it only took about an hour for shipping times to slip this year. Once they hit two weeks I wonder if it makes any difference if you ordered right when the times slipped, or now. Hours of difference, but wonder if you would get it a few days earlier. Just wondering since I ordered two of them at 4am! I just missed the cutoff.

In the same boat as you, got my 2 emails for 2 orders around 3:50-3:55am (EST). Most with the 2 week shipping emails seem to be getting a delivery date of 10/5 once their order moved to processing. Mine, however, says 10/2.

Here's to hoping we all get them sooner rather than later

Guys... if yours says ships in two weeks that means.. you're going to get it in two weeks.

If it said ships by 9/21.. you'll get it 9/21.

It doesn't matter how close you were to when it changed - they have an allotted amount they know they can produce. You missed that time frame. Very simple here.

Wrong. My gf's order says 2 weeks when ordered at 4:05am central. When order status changed to processing items, now it says delivers on 9/21.

We all still have hope.

My email from Apple is stamped 3:50 am EDT and said ships by 09/21 (or said that, when I was still able to log in & check order status). Guess I just snuck in under the wire.

I ordered two 32s at 5:38 and 5:42 Eastern (After trying in vain to get through AT&T Premier), they show Delivery on Oct 5!

Anyone else notice the shipping is now ~5 day, I thought in the past it was 48 hour shipping all the way from China.

I don't believe there is any chance of the 21st for me...hoping for the end of Sept though!

I ordered at 4:10 Eastern, and ended up with deliver on Oct. 5. Since I wont be home that weekend I cancelled and preordered from the nearby Walmart. I don't like going this route, since I don't trust Walmart to stock 32GB versions and the guys at the counter had no idea. But if I don't get one Friday, I'll just order one online then and wait patiently. It is just a phone after all.

You did. As I stated earlier, my 32 is arriving 9/21 and email is 3:50. Wife's is arriving 10/2 and her email arrived a 3:53.

I ordered and said 2 week shipping but now that its processing, its still 2 weeks (October 5th). Email arrived at 4:04 EST (1:04 PST)

Sigh... I'm going to not cancel but if it doesn't ship by next week, i'm going to camp out and get the phone at the apple store and then cancel my online order.

i got my order in a little after 5:00 am eastern and mine said 2 weeks from the get-go. I would be surprised if i do not get it on the 21st.

Well I cancelled my Apple pre orders. I ordered at 4am est time and got a Oct 2 delivery. I stopped by best buy and pre ordered with them. I think Friday morning ill be going to att to try and get one first and if I can use my $50 best buy card for cases. If I cant get one at att ill hope best buy pulls through sooner than later. The guy that helped me has been there for 3 years and said I have a great shot at getting mine on launch We will see....

If you get it on 9/21 or two weeks later - you're still going to get a phone. I have no doubts she will live & survive in those two weeks without the new phone.

I think the lesson he wants to teach her is that people will bend over backwards to make sure she isn't mildly inconvenienced in life.
