You shouldn't have bought it if you would've been mad about an upgrade... in fact if you waited and bought the Series 2, you would've been mad in a year or 2 when the next version comes out.

Im going to get crucified for this but I have to say it the first apple watch should have had everything series 2 has now. It was an underpowered slow POS device which wasnt even water proof yet at the time people raved about it because it was an apple device. Honestly I do feel they screwed us over on that and the novelty of a new "apple gadget" is what sold it, now they release what they should have in the first place.

I completely disagree I love my watch especially with Watch OS 3. I have zero interest in the new watches features as they are minor.

Nope. Not me. I enjoyed my Sport Watch and just bought an original steel version cheap because the version 2 doesn't wow me. The features are nice to have, but Apple needs to do the following for me upgrade to a new watch:

Slim it down, not fatten it up
Real health improvements
Cellular chip for true phone independence

I don't see these features happening for a few years.

same here, not zero interest as i'd love things to run a little faster but theres not that much improvement in the new watch imo... i wear my AW1 in the shower and haven't had any problems yet, waiting until they put a camera and possibly wifi/5G in the watch (id hate to have to use another plan).

I'd ideally like a camera in the watch (live recording video, go pro style, snapchat, facebook live, facetime... so many possibilities)

Wifi or direct communication with the iPhone (bluetooth is too slow... it's seriously slow, i'm hoping the iPhone ends up with two wifi chips (not sure if possible) with direct communication with other apple devices, super fast speeds, bluetooth 5.0 but proprietary

Larger storage capacity (so no need to take iphone running)

Underwater headphones (like seriously how cool would that be to go diving, snorkelling or laps in the pool)

Proper running/cycling tracking showing exact movement running on the streets (map record etc)

some way to count the amount of reps i'm doing on an exercise (probably need a new apple device for this) but it would be awesome if i could program a workout and it would know as i'm moving the weights how many reps i've done.. star trek shizen

some way to track my vitamin/mineral levels through my skin... https://www.consumerphysics.com/ if this end up coming out (i bought one 2 years ago on kickstarter and still haven't get mine... warning do not pre-purchurse new tech....

No one makes any of us buy these products. I'm still happy with my series 0 watch (or whatever it's called) and OS3 has made it even better.
