so i filled in the form about 10 hrs earlier, still no mail, tried the usual way to get a code about 5 times then gave it an hour rest and then tried it and now i have been updated ....... just didnt have the patience to wait for them to get back to me


finally mine is working, downloaded the os x lion in less than 50 minutes and now making my boot dvd before installing


its about time my macbook pro ROARRRRRSssssss

Sorry for the double post but I wanted to update, I just got an email back from Apple and they have refunded me for Lion because I qualified for the up-to-date program! I'll have the money back in five to seven days.

Very nice gesture of them, just another reason why I love Apple

..i got couldnt wait anymore, after 3 days of calling apple i gave up...i paid the 30$ now i want them back..lol... where should i send that email? (in US)...

I had to use the second method where you had to upload the proof of purchase, how long do you think before I get the code?

Apple told me about a week. I am still waiting for mine buddy. I did the same method as you did.

I finished the procedure to get the redemption code five days ago. No news at all so far. No way to contact Apple to know what's happening. When trying to request the codes again, the serial number is rejected as invalid.
