I was on the phone with Apple Support about up-to-date being down...

Oh, you were serious about contacting Apple Support....

I thought it was a joke about people who can't be patient enough to wait for this to be fully rolled out. Of course it's going to be "down" the first few minute it appears in the App Store. Take a breath, get some fresh air man.

Calling Apple support because you can't download the newest OS within minutes of it appearing on the App Store....

Yay a fellow Cardiffian, I have bothered venturing out today due the bloody football. Seems a waste with such nice weather.

ok i cant read thru all of these pages.. but does anyone know how to download this for free? i just bought my macbook pro on the new release and my computer is eligible for the free upgrade.. but HOW? thanks

My MacBook in December. I know I can upgrade but is it ok to just upgrade not to clean install? I have 4gb of ram that came with computer it should be ok
