And I who thought a picture was worth a thousand words... here are a few more: I'm showing how OS X Lion presents my Mac SSD with colour-codes for the various categories of files - just the way iTunes does with the storage on my iOS devices. Not exactly affirming what the OP writes, but rather glorifying its GUI-related implications with a dash of sarcasm.

Or maybe I'm just showing off how much porn there might be on my beloved Mac.

After using Lion for a couple months now, and after turning off launchpad . . , I really don't notice any big difference, give a lil niggle here and there, than Snow Leopard. Just some issues with some 64 bit apps and plugins which hopefully will eventually get fixed.
