So i've seen a few companies offering cases/covers utilizing magnets for sleep/wake function but nothing as nice as Apple's Smart Cover. Anyone found anything really nice cover/case wise that employees magnetics?

I saw one that covers the entire iPad, even the back, and utilizes the smart cover in the front. I didn't see who makes it and the price was TBD.

Now that's exactly what i'm looking for. Something like the original Apple case for the first gen. with magnetic sleep/wake. Something like the Macally Bookstand but with front face bezel protection and not the hideous edge clips they use.

Really cool looking cases for the iPad and iPhone 4... though the bamboo frame adds to the size of the cases. I have two bags that I use that the iPad with the Apple Case fits almost snuggly. But I really like the designs....

Some great designs... really liked the under-cabinet design; but had the same concern. Hoping that if and when I upgrade from my iPad to the iPad 2 or 3 that the Griffin under-cabinet iPad holder will still work.

It would be nice if these cases were available now instead of having to wait weeks or even months. My iPad isn'y going to magically be protected from scratches until then. I love Apple's products, but they should have sent molds out ahead of time so that cases would be available now.

I just pre-ordered this case at Marware that uses the same style and magnets as the smart cover. They also have just the back shell that can be used in conjunction with the Apple Smart Cover.

While I agree to a certain point.... It is hard for Apple to provide for other vendors to provide cases and such at launch - and Apple wanting/needing the secrecy to make the rumor mill work for them....
I totally understand this... just hope someone starts making some quality, maybe leather, full body and magnetic flap cases soon!

this is MACALLY But it does not have sleep wake function right now, I just got off the phone with them, the guy said probably next batch will....nice start though just what I wanted.
It does look nice, but hopefully it will better quality wise than the first one. I'll wait for the magnets and to see other comments on it.

Once they get the batch with the magnets I am ordering... I wonder how long that will take. I wonder how long I can go without a cover on my iPad 2.

@CAWjr yes our case will turn off the screen when closed and on when opened.
He also said that the speaker hole will be similar to the iPad 1 case which confuses me sinc ethe speaker design is completely different.
