but one thing i will point out is that even at full brightness and multi-tasking, my iP5 stays cool to the touch, its amazing. it used to just burn the crap out outta me so i never took it out of the otterbox. somehow by making the battery worse, its actually better.

My wife's iPhone 4 is now having battery woes with 6.1.2. I never told her about mine. This morning she told me she applied the update to her phone the other day and since then she can almost watch the % drop.
My iPhone 5's battery is definitely worse since the update.
I was amazed with its performance prior to the update. This sucks!

My iPhone5 battery life is markedly improved with 6.1.2
With the same usage, all LTE when at work or out for lunch, usually email and fiddling around with DataViz documents, and some limited surfing, I'm now at around 65% after about 8hrs. Previously I was at around 45% or less. (No phone time as a rule during the day)
Charging time appears to be longer, however.

Has any one gone from 6.0/6.0.1 straight to 6.1.2? I'm getting tremendous battery life on 6.0.1 and afraid lose that.

Battery life on 6.1.2 is worse for me compared to 6.1.1 after testing for a few days.
I have had same battery from 6.0 to 6.1.2. No problems. Only problems with battery are when I'm in a place where is bad cellural reception. Thats because my phone tryes to connect 3G and just cant make it.
Definitely an issue for me. That and I'm constantly losing my wifi connection. Get it together Apple!
On average, I get about 4.5 hours of usage time time at around 50%. My battery life hasn't changed much, but if anything, 6.1.2 helped.
No problems with the battery on my iphone 5 I only have problems with the battery when I'm in a place where the cellural reception is bad 
No complaints here and its even jb ...
One thing I experimented and can confirm is that Whatsapp is a drainer ... 10 messages worth of conversations costs 1-2% easy ... i tested few hours of those time with Whatsapp gone and it was much better !
