Otterbox Commuter Quality differences depending on where it was made

I am adding that i had the opposite effect. I got the commuter case for my samsung s4, and it never could get it to fit my phone. Unfortunately i got it just before leaving for trip and could not refund or exchange it when i got back. Otterbox requires a shipping fee to replace rubber part that is defective (made in mexico) the plastic part is fine (made in germany) but i refuse to pay 6.99 shipping as i already payed a premium for my phone to be protected. I will find a way around this. In the interm i bought a defender case, which fits perfectly, all made in China. Weird. I am ready to boycot China and otterbox, how much of a profit was made on this case, only for all these poor quality cases to be made. The premium price should give a premium product, and not leave us having to hunt for a replacement.
