Here is the iPhone 4S and the 5 both in Commuter cases. As you can see there the same in height. I loved the way the 4S w/case felt in my hands. The 5 now feels just as good. Even though the cases are the same size height wise, the 5 is way lighter in the hands. The 4s feels so heavy now.
thanks a ton for posting those, going to go ahead and order one.

I'm getting excited for my Commuter to come in. The $5 clear plastic case I got off of eBay is CHEAP in all regards. I need some protection for my phone.

How easy are the new otterbox screen protectors to put on?

Very easy, mine fits great. Has a great feel but seems to show fingerprints worse than the naked screen. They clean off easy though. One of the best I've seen considering its included with a case.

I ended up ordering this one instead of the otter box, as it was backordered everywhere....

Ok so after using this a bit it really shows fingerprints! Guess its time for a SGP

EDIT: Heard bad things about the Glass.t protector I was inquiring about. Sounds like Power Support is the way to go.

Has anyone noticed how horribly hard it is to press the sleep/wake with this case on? Not to mention how thin the plastic is at the bottom... Honestly, I loved my commuter on my 4s and otterbox did good by sending me a new one when mine cracked but I've gotta say this isn't great this time around... I honestly like my incipio that I ordered while I waited for the otterbox to come :(

Just put it on and noticed that as well. Also noticed the circle aroun the appl symbol wasn't cut well. Still some frayed edges. Picked it up at the Verizon store.

Yea... The home button thing is likely a deal breaker to me. I love that it covers the ports but if I can't easily press the button like I can with the incipio, I dunno...

I have both the Commuter and Defender. The commuter (bought from Otterbox's site) had some issues with the rubber (the headphone jack cover had a slit in the middle). The big issue I had with the Commuter was it was close to the size of the Defender when I placed it side by side. Since they were so close in size, I went with the Defender and will return the Commuter. I was hoping the Commuter would be thinner.

I just received my commuter case today. I found the fit to be very good, the rubber flaps that cover the lightning connector and the earphone plug to fit firmly in place. The case over the volume and power button are easy to use with a firm (but not hard) press with a great tactile and audible feedback. I have spine damage with a reduction in hand strength and find it easy to press the buttons.

As in anything, these are my opinions but I am happy with the case. It gives a nice feel, doesn't snag when removed from my pocket, and it does come with a screen protector (which I don't use as I keep my phone away from my keys and i have never found one that I liked).

my commuter was sent from verizon and I did NOT get a screen protector in it.

I'm glad you like it.

I loved my commuter on my 4s. Wouldn't have traded it for ANYTHING.

I love the way it looks, I love the cutout on the back (some don't) and I LOVE that it covers up the ports on the bottom.

I just don't like having to kill the button to press it. I feel like I'm damaging something. I also don't like the thin plastic areas that are prone to breaking.

Bought from Verizon Wireless and I didn't receive a screen protector. The case is really good, but the only problem is I have a hard time pressing on the lock button.
