I definitely would like to see a naked food fight in a giant vat of custard involving Ching He Huang, Giada de Laurentiis, Rachel Ray and Nigella Lawson. It wouldn't matter who won as long as it lasted quite a while ;)

I call ref! :D

Not to be too technical by default, Rachel Ray is inelligable and so might a few others, Rachel is not a "Chef", she is a cook, she doesn't hide it. First you need to find out who really is a Chef before you can set the matchups.

Giada is cute and all but my goodness she could shrink the smile down a bit.

I think Cat Cora could hold her own..

So what's the definition of a chef, then? I thought it was just a professional cook.

When you see Cat Cora almost see her take Rachel Ray or Giada on as the secret ingredient in a Celebrity Deathmatch/Iron Chef crossover even.

Can almost see it now Cat Cora chasing Giada around the Iron Chef stage in order to cook her.

I think jbernie's being a little (but not too pedantic.) A "chef" in the foodie world is someone who is formally trained, apprenticed and worked his or her way up the professional kitchen. Usually, but not necessarily, in the French style. Thomas Keller is a chef. Padme Lakshmi, as hot is she is, is a cook.
