Im in my pickup every day with my trusty laptop riding shotgun on a passenger seat desk.

im going to get new air and can buy one upgrade but im thinking i dont need to

daily use web based software “CRM”, documents, spreadsheets, emails.

Numbers, word and the Such

I store most everything I can in the cloud.

so should I upgrade ram, storage, nothing

For your needs, the base model should be more than enough.

If you want an upgrade, it's memory. Storage means next to nothing if all your stuff is kept in the cloud.
