@nobullone1964 - I followed your lead. So much quieter, faster and cleaner looking.. Check out this before and after... Took less than 24 hours for Amazon to get everything to my desk :) Max speed went from ~700 to ~2000! And.. its QUIET! And I don't need the Satechi hub on this mac now either.

Outstanding. Well, next we'll wait on the Thunderbolt 5 version to release.

Treblee talso produces a Thunderbolt 3 Four-Slot M.2 NVMe SSD Enclosure ( https://www.trebleet.com/product-pa...-m-2-nvme-ssd-enclosure-40gbps-up-to-2800mb-s )
Does anyone have experience with this ?
I've spoken with Trebleet pertaining to this unit. It's great for some things. I wouldn't consider such a device if utilizing RAID due to the speed limits. I am avidly waiting for Thunderbolt 5 to become a norm. Hopefully the prices won't be too bad. I don't expect them to keep up with PCI-E 5.0, but hopefully 4.0 speed can be utilized better.

Does anyone know if the Trebleet NVMe + SATA combo will ever come back?

That's just what I could use for a family members Mac Mini ... to put extra storage on NVMe and then a Time Machine drive on SATA side

This one:

I went to the site to purchase this item for my 2018 Mac Mini. OUT OF STOCK. This has happened before with the silver model I use with my Mac Studio. I guess we'll just have to wait. I sent an email for any updates to be sent when available.

My Aura SSD inside my OWC Ministack STX kept dropping. This trick from https://iboysoft.com/howto/external-hard-drive-keeps-disconnecting-mac.html worked.
I'm over 24 hours without a drop.
  1. Launch Terminal by opening Finder and navigating to the Applications > Utilities folder.
  2. Input the following command and press Enter to check your Mac's default disk sleep time.sudo pmset -g
Use Terminal to check the disk sleep time on your Mac
  3. Enter your password as prompted and hit Enter.
  4. Change the disk sleep time by executing another command:sudo pmset -a disksleep 1410065408
The disk sleep time is now set to the maximum. This method should have fixed the problem if sleep time is the cause behind the case that your Samsung T5 keeps disconnecting. If it fails, move on to the next fix.

UPDATE. The Aura SSD dropped after 48 hours of being on desktop. Again dropped off while I was away from computer. So the terminal command made the problem less, but no solve.
