What do you think the scanner will be useful for?

Being able to scan an object and then 3D print it. It probably won't be that simple, but as someone who just got into the 3D printing hobby, and who needs a new iPad, the scanner may just convince me to get one.

would be nice if it is useable for that, though I have doubts. We will see!

From what I understand, the RAM upgrade in that model was required by the larger SSD. It's not included to bump up system performance.
So none of the extra 2GB of RAM is allocated for multitasking performance? I did not know this, but if this is true, then I will definitely hold out until they release the newer models, and if they aren't that compelling I'll go with the 2018 model refurbed 512GB. I don't need 1TB of storage.

I think I’d want a 12 inch one. Split screening the 10.5 isn’t as good and I already have a windows gaming laptop for my heavy lifting.

Do these STILL use the 3M tape to hold the iPad in? If so, I'm out. P&Q make great looking products, I'm just not sticking my iPad in with tape. I take my iPad in and out to much to deal with that.

This cover says it's for gen 3 iPad pros. Isn't that the current generation pros? How is this a presale for the next gen pros?

Just preordered this case. I have the 3rd generation iPad and want to have my keyboard and this case in one! :D Excited. Have the previous version of pad and quills case.

I went ahead and bit the bullet on 2 of the current 12.9” iPad Pro 256GB. I read on multiple sites that the extra 2GB of RAM on the 1TB models don’t actually increase performance, which makes sense so I saved a lot of money. Bought 2 pencils as well and will probably use the money saved to get the Brydge keyboard case with the track pad.
