Long story short, I put in a new 500GB HDD into my Mac, did restore from backup (after installing Snow Leo) and every was peachy in 20 minutes.

Every program in my Mac works, including Numbers and Keynote; Pages however does not.

It outright refuses to open any document. Refuses to create a new document or open a template. It hangs working, there but never does anything.

Suggestions?

i'd trash prefs first and if that doesn't work i'd consider just re-installing it. maybe use appdelete/app zapper to make sure you get rid of everything and anything that might be corrupted.

1. Where might I find the prefs?
2. I would re-install, but I left the iWork DVD back home in Honduras, so I can't really rely on that option. I can't download the thing from the internet... so that's out.

Go to HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences, delete the com.apple.iwork.pages.plist, empty the Trash & then restart Pages.
