Hello My first post here.
I have an Mid 2013 MacBookAir that I just erased and installed Big Sur on. It was running High Sierra for years. Well my Pages (and Numbers) are missing. I used them to send inventory updates to my old boss. He's a hard core MacMan. Well App Store only offers me the latest Pages version and that requires Sequoia. I need to find Pages 12.1 or older for my laptop. A copy straight from someones App folder will do, or point me to some where on the web to get a copy of Pages (and Numbers) 12.1 or older.

Thanks Matt

If you've purchased them before, they should show up in the App Store under your previous purchases. I don't have Big Sur nor have I ever used it, but going on the Sequoia App Store, the purchased apps are accessed by clicking your name in the bottom left of the window.

Check your purchase history. You should be able to download it from there if you "purchased" it before.
  1. In the App Store, click your name in the lower-left corner. Your previously purchased/downloaded apps will show here.
  2. Look for "Pages 14.5" in this list, and click the cloud icon to download.
  3. You should get a prompt to download the latest compatible version for Big Sur.

I tried this earlier but I couldn't find the pages I needed. You gave me a list of iWorks. I'll go through these, maybe I'll find it.

I didn't know about the lower left hand corner, thanks. I signed in, it had the "purchases". Two "Pages" in fact, both linked to Version 14.5 which requires Sequoia or Tahoe. I have Big Sur it's as far as that MacAir will go, so I need the old Version 12.1 or older.
Is there any other Archive place to look?

The one with the older icon is the correct version, and clicking the download button it should offer to download the version compatible with your OS.

The top "Pages" when clicking on the icon or cloud gives a popup that says 'This application requires macOS 15.6 or later.' ~must update OS~blah blah.
The lower "Pages" which says Pages 14.5, when slicking on the icon or OPEN gives a popup which says 'You can't use this version of the applicartion "Pages" with this version of macOS' and give's me choice to update, which won't work I'm at the high end with Big Sur.

To CyberDog I downloaded two of the newest Pages and iWorks that where older then 12.1. When I tried to install either I got the message, "Pages" cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified. ~blah cannot verify free from malware blah~

Is there a trick I missed?

And I'm sorry I don't know how to resize the screenshot in the reply.
