How is this a legit thread ? Such an unnecessary post. If you hate it they much. Why would you ever buy a $700 + device that made you Paint/cover a thin short strip just to cover it, given that most of iphone 6 owners should know exactly what you did.
Seems pretty ridiculous and just plain dumb. IMO

Two words: gold Sharpie. Carry it in your pocket with your phone-that way you can touch it up every couple hours.

Crazy. crazy crazy. You dont want to alter a $1000 phone. Period.

Why this overreaction? Colorware seems to be getting business and they even provide their own 1 year warranty as the procedure technically violates Apple's standard warranty.

Exactly! Why void apples warranty with such a minuscule imperfection (according to the OP that is) with some third parties warranty that does a "great" job at ~hiding~ a |white| line ? This is just NUTS !
Just buy yourself a different phone or a case and call it a day.

I'm getting a gold phone and I think the white bands look fine...now that gold phone posted in this thread with the matching bands is tacky ass hell

Don't paint your cell phone that's ****ing dumb as ****, op. If you don't like the way the $1000 phone looks go get another cheaper phone that you like better.

Why would anyone spend a ton of money on something they don't even like?

The white lines are growing on me. I ordered a Gold Plus. I suspect it will be in a case, but time will tell.

you think this is possible? I'm sure you can get like a paint marker from an art store to match the color tape off the lines and lightly paint them to make them less noticeable. crazy or no?

Crazy? Maybe! But why not. You should do anything you want to it.

I'm actually likeing the gold and white more the longer I look at it.
