Just wondering if anyone is playing Palworld? I was thinking about getting it for Mac and curious how the performance is. I see some people say it's fantastic, some say it runs badly. I have an M5 Max and run CP2077 on it so I'd imagine specs wouldnt' be an issue with Palworld. Also, what do you think of the game, overall? Are you enjoying it and having fun?

I stumbled on Palworld, survival game, high ratings, impulse purchased, so far so good. When I first saw this, I was “no way”, but the ratings swayed me, was up to 1am last night. The more I read, the more I am worried about a raid even in a solo game, so there is some onus on being prepared. I have altered some setting to reduce grind, yet I’m still too new to the game to judge grindyness.

I want to know is your base raided in a solo game?

I've been playing on my PC. Sometimes it feels a bit grindy.
There are setting in game that can be changed after a game is started that can reduce grind.

My base hasn't been raided, yet. Before 1.0 when I played it was. With good enough Pals it was no big deal, of course I could be in for a world of hurt if 1.0 is different in that aspect.

Palworld has awakened in me my love of survival, basebuilding games, up to 1:30 last night, too late. I mean this is the exact mechanism of Conan Exiles and Ark Survival, which I played for years, the difference here is the helpers are much more flexible in helping with base production and it’s an interesting environment for me (always the key to attraction). 🙂
I’m not sure if this is a setting, but I lost a Pal (Eikthyrdeer) in combat, these things are great for transport, and I thought damn, looked at it in my party list, and it was listed as incapacitated, but when I placed it b back in my collection, a timer appeared, 10 min to get it back and functional. 🙂

I haven't yet other than verifying that it runs under Crossover.
In the realm of survival, base building games, this has grabbed me, not since I was grabbed by ARK: Survival Evolved and Conan Exiles. One of the most significant elements that make the game soloable are flexible World Settings to control the level of grind. I can’t say how many Tower bosses I’ll beat or how much longer I’ll be ensnared. One important element this game has is significant automation of production with you guiding and Pals doing much of the grunt work that typical drags the player down in a game like this.

I'm currently doing another play through of Fallout 4 🙂.

Maybe, I'll play this next.

Too many games and not enough time.
