On family member's iMacs 24" M1, I installed Parallels 17 and the Windows 10 ARM (through the free MS Insider program).
I must admit, installation and setup of Windows 10 was nice! "Perception-speed" of Windows 10 is also fine.
Installed an x86 game, which needed some tinkering around to get it up and running. Had to change the permissions of the installed-directory and all the files. After that worked pretty well.

Finding out how it keeps performing. But, kudos to Parallels!

I receive my m1 MacBook tomorrow 16gb ram, 2tb ssd.

Will the standard parallels 17 let me use full recommended 8gb of ram for windows, and 8gb for Mac? I dont want to pay for higher tiered models. just want to use this so I can run steam/games etc.
