Same thing happen with me with Parallels 7 and a dual monitor bug that was fixed in Parallels 8 but not 7.

Well, not to diminish any bug but at least you still had at least one display working.

I just can't picture Parallels abandoning version 8 users with their USB ports not working because of an OS change. I have a support ticket open. We'll see.

The problem was I tried VMWare and it was such a poor product compared to Parallels that I basically waited until 9 to upgrade.

Yes, I've tried it also about a year back. I think Parallels has been widening the gap for some time now.
