This is exactly what I would like.

Don't want to Daisy chain very expensive monitors and get a massive neckache from so much real estate.

I want to connect two, smaller monitors to a mac laptop (excluding macbook screen). So I can take my laptop from the office, to the home office, without having any issues!

As for those expensive Raid's, better off getting a NAS and saving lots, such as a synology.!

Gabi.

Why not get get one single good monitor? Cheaper, less eye strain, less neck ache.

I do, I have a 30" ACD and I find it less productive, than my two 22" monitors (windows machine)

I think the ideal setup is 2 x 20" monitors of the good resolution 1600 x 1200.......

Wow....

Lots of bitching is right, we all love our white iPod touches and iPad 2's but it would be nice to phase out all black iPods and iPads and iPhones

I have a black iPod touch and if I were buying again, I'd buy another black one. Love your white all you want, but I don't want any part of it.

Nop.

1 .- TB is expensive, do you want to buy a $50 wire to charge/sync your iPad?

2.- TB is waaay too fast for the iPad flash memory speed, so no improvement here in transfer speed.

You forgot the whole "cable-free" movement made possible by iOS 5. With the upcoming new wireless standard, TB becomes even less of an issue for iOS devices. If I could afford various charging stations (various little music players) to replace the ones I have that stopped charging at the iPhone 3GS, I would have zero need to plug up my devices -- save if I turn off Photo Stream or take videos.

Also, the number of people with TB is still quite low, and the cables are quite expensive.

I'm pretty sure an update of the airport express base station is now imminent, too. France's and Germany's Amazon are totally out of stock. I guess the new airport express could feature 802.11ac WiFi, like new Apple TV and iPad3, uhm?

Didn't they just update those about 6 months ago?

Shipping time for the Apple TV on the UK Apple Store has slipped to 2-4 business days. That would put shipping near Wednesday/Thursday right around the time of the announcement. Also suggests the imminent availability of the device.

There is an Airport Express and there is an Airport Extreme Base Station. The Airport Extreme was updated last June. I don't know when the Express was updated last.
