I have the same problems. I've turned off the passcode, but this could be not the solution!

Which configurations do you have? Which iPhone are you using? Is there something special?

The point is that whenever it's removed from a wrist, a passcode has to be added to access the features of the watch. If someone puts on your watch, they'd have to know your passcode to use it, even if they put it on.

The question I still have (since I'm waiting for mine to show up), is how smart the wrist detection is.

In other words, can you fool it by putting something flesh-reflective-like under the watch and then moving it to another wrist?

I'm having a similar issue where my watch gets stuck in this cycle of having me type my passcode on my watch every single time, despite not taking it off my wrist. A couple of times, restarting has made behave normally, but since Saturday night I had to disable the passcode, as it wouldn't stop asking for it.

Today, Apple said it could be my Google account for work that is using Exchange. I turned off my calendars (the only think I had turned on on my iPhone) and that seemed to solve the problem, until tonight when I took it off my wrist to shower, then it's back to asking me every single time.

I have a follow up appointment with Apple tomorrow with the representative that helped me. Hopefully they have a workaround.

Thread Resurrection!

Brand new series 3. Having the same issue. I have large wrists and sleeved arms. Any solutions known yet?

Ah, sorry. Yes, I've seen that as well. Tattoos on the wrist where you wear the Watch were reported to have problems for heart rate and wrist detection.

Yep, I have heard the same. I had the same issue on series 1. Good news though. I guess I had the watch on a little loose. Looks like I solved the issue with some playing around with it. Ive been wearing it for about 2 hours now and no issue at all. Im sleeved also, so I am not sure how much the tattoo thing is an issue any longer.
