Still loving Copied, keeps my Macs and iOS devices' clipboards synced, even the ones not running iOS 10 or Sierra. Also has text filters and lists, and is a very reasonable price on both platforms.

Haven't touched PasteBot since 2012, when it last worked for me.

Also using the free ClipMenu to keep large archives of previous clipboards (I usually save and reset it around 900 items), of what was saved as plain text. This has come in handy more times than I can count, since the contents get indexed by Spotlight.

Happy to see PasteBot back from the dead regardless, I wonder if they got a notice that Apple was going to remove the old one since it doesn't work.

Love TweetBot!

AlfredApp. Does this and so much more. Surprised it hasn't already been mentioned.

AlfredApp is a time sheet maker for iOS. No clipboard history. Guess you're talking about Alfred, a Mac app, but there is no iOS syncing ability, and no text manipulation to speak of.

So no, it doesn't do "this". And don't call Alfred AlfredApp.

I use copy em paste and it has served me well.
There's an incompatibility with illustrator but you can enable and disable it so fast it hasn't hindered my experience.
Bought it a long time ago but I think it was cheaper than 20.

Seems there's quite a few apps that does this out there (but maybe not so many that work between iOS and macOS, yet). I use iClip on my Mac and I think it works well for the me (but I consider myself a light user).

Any one heard about ClipMenu?
its simple, it doesn't have the fancy cloud sync-ing mega corporations reading your files and its free.

But the developer seems to have gone AWOL.

Alfred is a Spotlight replacement, but it has a clipboard manager built in, along with many other awesome features. It's available here.

Remember Clips? Dead dev was pulled from the store and now it's back.

The devs have probably heard us, the app is $9.99 at least for the time being. That's more like it.

Love it! But it was like € 5 when I got it.
Yeah I think it was also on sale when I got it. AppShopper probably lists when it usually goes on sale if people want to wait. But for $10 it's very much worth it. This Pastebot app seems less useful, less aesthetically pleasing, and costs twice as much. I used the original Pastebot app with desktop utility and it was pretty glitchy, but it was for cross device copy and paste. iCloud takes care of that now.

Mark has a modded Honda S2000. It's a pretty cheap car, and he would have bought it used.

It is not really okay to be critical of somebody's personal hobby in this way. Be critical of the product.

I must admit you are right and I am sorry for my words. Indeed this is about apps and NOT about cars :)

My comment was written because of frustration*. Let me explain.

Since 2008 I bought all Tapbots apps and we all know what happened to most of them. Pastebot, Convertbot and Weightbot were all removed. Convertbot became Calcbot (IMO a halve baken solution) and Calcbot iOS did not receive an update for > 1 year. Calcbot seems also not under development anymore as you can see on their website http://tapbots.com

In fact Tweetbot is the ONLY app which is updated on a regular base. Also party because of changed Twitter API's, so they HAVE to.

So after more than n 3 years finally Pastebot returns. They call it a 2.0, I call it 1.1 as Pastebot on the mac was nothing more than a menu bar item needed to scrap content to your iOS devices.

Then the pricing. 20 bucks for an app which has some great alternatives like Alfred, Paste and Copied. Cheaper too.

The good news is that Tapbot listened to the initial release comments and lowered the price to 10 bucks. Great news and also the reason I bought it today :) Now all I need is Pasebot a iOS to make it the perfect Scapbook app.

* during the years so many great apps were discontinued. Once you got used working with them, they stopped or changed the subscription model like Pocket Informant 5 or TextExpander 4

I use Copied but find it doesn't always add items to its clipboard.

Installed Pastebot 2 and after using it for a few hours I deleted it again. I am not very impressed by it features. Lack of swipe to left to delete and double click to open should be implemented in a 2016 app. Also missing app to sync to on iOS. I think Copied is the better choice although Pasted als promises an iOS app (for a long time)

Alfred App. Please don't tell me what to or not to call something. There IS syncing between Macs. If you feel the need to address me again do so in a politer manner in the future.

Last update 2012....enough said and if you look at their websites they are all down. Last tweet same story @ConceitedApps It is typical abandonware which Apple should have removed from the App Store anyway...

I found a news word: crookware ;)

FYI but OT also check @billminderapp in the US iOS App Store https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/billminder-bill-reminder-organizer/id407262212?mt=8 Today number 3 financial, with negative feedback only because they even do not exist anymore. No support, no nothing... Apple should remove them at once !

What's New 2.0.1
- Fixed issue where you could copy an image from Safari, put it in a custom pasteboard and then end up with a text link when you pasted it into Pages (and possibly other apps).
- Fixed issue where you could copy an image from Safari, filter the text url, and the image was returned in the filtered output (as RTFD).
- Fixed issue where could show main Pastebot window but clicking on the main menu wouldn't do anything until you clicked on a different app and then back to Pastebot again (only happens when you autohide the Dock icon).
- Minor tweaking to iCloud syncing
- Improved the focus rings on some of our custom buttons.
