Pastel-and-white text illegible

Site-managers, I implore you to get your website-designers to stop displaying text in pastel fonts on white, or white fonts on pastel, or pastel fonts on pastel. Please, PLEASE use black on white, or white on black, which is far, far easier to read. For me and I am sure other older users, some of the material on this otherwise wonderful site is not just hard to read, it is illegible.
