Pay iPhone with debit?

I actually don't know. The wording on the website HERE makes it seem like you can't.

I know that you can always run a debit card as a credit card, as long as you have Visa, MasterCard logos on the card. If these logos aren't there, are you sure you have a debit card, or just an ATM card?

Yeah it's only an ATM card, as I didn't have a job and you need a job for a visa but I just got a job yesterday so I'll go tomorrow and ask to get a VISA.

Do you guys have prepaid VISA cards in Canada? If you do, just load some funds on to that to buy your iPhone. I know they didn't allow you to use cash here because of item limits, but I do not know of the restrictions in place for Canadian iPhones.

Well, thanks for the info but I won't buy one at the Apple store, they don't sell unlocked ones, only contract ones.. So I'll just order it at my carrier's store

(I don't care if it's locked or not, I just wanted a no contract one..)
