I use peak and pop all the time. Especially on this forum.

I find it useful to be able to peak to a thread to see if it's something interesting I may want to look at and then pop it open. This allows me to not open the page and then go back to previous page if I find the thread uninteresting.

Don't feel you have to use a feature just because its there, that's what is great about options. I use 3D Touch "peek" and "pop" extensively, it makes my phone use more efficient but YMMV. I have many friends/family who either don't use or turn it off, hasn't hindered them in the slightest.

I use it all the time, to the point where I am disappointed that not all apps support the gestures for links. I try to peek at a link in Twitter just to bring up the share sheet. I use a 6S+, and I could see where on a 6S the problem of your hand getting in the way of the content could be a larger deal, but you can move your finger horizontally after pressing to get it out of the way, which is useful.

This is what I do too. However, if you are feeling especially lazy just swipe up to pull up those default options. When these options are up you can remove your finger from the screen. Of course, you clip a little bit of the top content but I find that's perfectly fine because its the part I can read easily while my finger is on the screen. You can always drag it back down to remove the options as well and see the whole thing again.

I mainly use it for safari links. It's becoming 2nd nature because I tried it on my iPad without realizing it wouldn't work. But I don't really use it for anything else at the moment. 3D touching the profile images in Messages is actually good. I will definitely use that! Thanks to ViperGTS!

I find myself using the 3D Touch more now that more 3rd party apps utilize it.

Best I've found so far are Instagram and Tweetbot.
