Rite.

First it only takes one swipe down, cause it'll fold up on it's own when you let it go.

Then it's when driving you can quickly "peek" into notifications, and it requiring only one slide and hold, it is faster and easier.

Because you have lots of other things to do in that tenth of a second, right?

I'm sorry, but this is just nitpicky. Wouldn't you much rather the developers spend their time worrying about actual bugs and problems, instead of silly stuff like this? Or would you prefer the "OMG IT'S SO PRETTY" factor riddled with bugs?
 
obviously, this thread is about an issue that you deem insignificant, we get it.

you have stated your opinion about the people caring being utterly nitpicky, about you not getting the fact that it's not about 'time lost swiping up and down' but actually both ease of use and aesthetics (which is a big part of Apple's products).

so, i suppose you can move along now :/
