I ordered a black peel case and a totallee spy last week for mi MB i7+. Could someone upload photos of that combos? Thanks!

I did a quick "unboxing" of the Elago SLimFit for the iPhone 7 Plus. Would love to hear some feedback as well about the video. Im new, so be gentle... :D

I have ordered the following Ringke case as it's the only really minimalist and thin case I could find in clear transparent from the main big brands. I'm not sure if it's as thin but it looks pretty thin and minimalist none the less. I prefer the back of my phone to be visible as otherwise there is no point in getting a particular colour especially with the white bezeled options.

I tried several cases but I didn't like the soft flexible edges because dust and grit can easily get in to the sides. So I got the Peel and I love it. Frosted on my silver plus looks great. It's very light and thin and you hardly know it's on there. It wasn't cheap and I don't know how durable it will be so I might get the Tozo as a back up.

I've had this case for many of my past phones. that material always yellows. the clear back gets greasy and slick. and the sides always irritates my palms after handling the phone for a while. also, I don't like the reflective, lighter look it gives especially on a darker and non-reflective colour device.

What are everyone's thoughts on Incipio Feather? Maybe it it is too rigid to fall into the category of this thread. But probably thin enough? I don't love the branding -- obnoxious to me to have the brand of the several hundred dollar item be covered by the under $20 item... Any un-branded rigid shell-like cases similar to Feather?

I've used the feather case on multiple iPhones, one of my favorites with the biggest drawback being the branding.

I like the look of the Elago case, but that logo looks so tacky to me.

With these ultra slim cases, is anyone else bothered by the protruding camera on the back of the phone? I've been using a slightly thicker case (Ringke Slim) which is just thick enough for the phone to lay flat on a table.

Good news is that it rubs off easily. Looks better now

Looking for one of these super thin cases that is grippy and has a raised lip for some minor screen protection. It looks that none of the case that I have been looking at have a raised lip from what I can tell.

Does anyone know if any of these cases fit both of these criteria?

I have both the Elago Origin and the Caudabe Veil XT. The Caudabe has substantially more grip than the Elago, so there are differences between them.

I've been a huge peel fan since they came out - they were one of the first to market with a thin case that covered all the ports really well and had some really dope colors. Pricing was always a little brutal for what you got, but they had excellent customer service and I'm pretty sure they would honor an exchange if you told them your case became loose.

Caudaubes in the past didn't cover the entire bottom which was the only part I actually was bothered about scratching, but they redesigned the XT.

I've got a gold peel case, and a black cauadube xt coming. I'll try to do a comparo for you when I have both in hand.

At this point though if you're going to get a matt black case - I'd pick the cheapeast one - tozo on amazon. ESP cuz 2day prime and free return/swap if you're worried about being unhappy with it.

Not super thrilled about paying 5 for shipping from Peel or 3 dollars from Cauduabe (spoiled by prime)

Also if you're an ultra minimalist - Caudube's logo might bother you. Peel wins in that regard.

Thanks for the feedback. I ordered the Veil XT earlier today as it looks like they redid the texture on the back to make it a lot grippier than the previous generation cases.

I like how thin it is too... grippy and thin is all I am looking for here :)

is the Caudabe Veil XT much thicker than the Elago Origin? I don't like how slippery the Origin is. but I love the coverage and fitment.

Same exact thickness (or so it seemed), but the Caudabe has a textured back to make it more grippy. I threw my Elago in the trash as it was way to slick. The Elago was basically perfect except for the slipperiness

While Elago and Tozo may seem like the best bang-for-buck, I cannot recommend them based on their lack of grip. Since the cases basically offer no protection, you need anything to help minimize the chance of dropping your phone with them on, so grip-ability to me is super important.

I also picked up a Orzly Flexislim. It is my favorite feeling case overall, but the sides of the case are pretty loose which bugs me.

Got the matte frost white TOZO from Amazon ($8.99), and it will be too expensive to send back if anyone is interested in paying a few bucks for it. Feel free to PM me..

I'm trying to decide between the Veil XT or maybe something like this since it's half the price:

Anyone tried Tech Armor?

I have the Turata and highly recommend for E2E screen protection.

IMO, you overpaid. I got the Elago and the Peel. For my money they are almost identical in fit and feel. I sent the Peel back. The Elago was $9.99 and the Peel was $24.99 for the exact same thing.

Hi there,

As an iPhone 7 silver user looking for a minimalist case, I've been following this thread for quite a while and I'm still undecided between the Caudabe Veil XT & the TOZO. Since these kind of cases offer very limited to non existent drop protection, my main concern goes for the grip. In that regard, is the Caudabe Veil XT the best option?

Also, and just for the sake of adding a new contender, has anyone tried the Caseco cases? I couldn't find any reviews online but their promotional video seems promising, especially the Skin clear / iPhone 7 Silver combo !

I got a grey frost peel for my jetblack.. the only problem is it appears almost a dark brown/yellow tint compared to the iphone 7 JB and made it look cheap. Ended up using a skin instead of the peel

I was stuck on either getting the Orzly, Elago or Tozo. Tozo was sold out and heard the Orzly was really loose so I went with the Jean indigo (blue) Elago for my silver 7+.

That is beautiful! I have a matte black 7 Plus and might have to look into getting this case. How's the grip/general quality?

The quality is pretty good, especially for a case that cost me $10 shipped. I would say the grip is a very small improvement over a naked iPhone. I would compare it to the speck presidio case(the non-grip version) in regard to feel in hand. Hard plastic with a rough texture but not as sticky as a rubber/silicone case.

bought the air skin for my matte black and well you can't see the colour as well as hoped nor can you really see the apple logo.

A few little rubs with a Magic Eraser cleaner took the ELAGO logo right off the case.
