i agreed the pre "looked nice" but now after Actual people using it having so many problems i like to point it out

My history with iphones.
First ever iphone 16gb-excited bought it at the apple store got home touch screen did not work.
Got it exchanged-it worked fine for 4 months then had issues with the screen again and problems with my headphone jack.
Got it exchanged 5 months later speaker died. Out the blue my speaker stopped working. Got fed up with dealing with it so i went the blackjack route for like 2 months
Got the iphone 3g 16gb...worked perfect no problems but my shell started cracking...They did not replace it so i had to deal with the problem...
I ended up selling it for cheap and got me another phone (htc touch diamond) Used it for a few months sold it came back to the iphone
Now I have dust underneath my screen..And once again teh white shell is cracking.
So once again I decided to dump the iphone went with the pre-SO FAR so good.
Fingers crossed for a smooth phone ride.
Beyond the walls of intelligence perfection is defined. The iphone have yet to reach that wall my friend.
Fratboy the battery on my pre is identical in terms of usage to my iphone.
Did a test today and they lasted about the same time before getting the running on low battery message.

Dead pixels seem to be the Pre's case cracks. 
What we can take away from this is that there is no such thing as perfection and as long as we don't know what percentage gets returned all there is to say is neither the iPhone nor the Pre have been flawless. I have had my iPhone for almost a year and have had no problems at all. Never restored it, never had a call dropped nor any other major issue. An app crash every now and then is the worst of it... I have noticed some dust under the screen recently, but that's only noticable under certain circumstances (sunlight + angle). I also have not used any protective case for it and it's still as shiny as it was when I took it out of the box.

I purchased my iPhone 3G a couple of days after launch. I remember very well a yellow tint on my display, contacts that were SLOWWWW to load, Safari crashing numerous times per day, MobileME basically not working at all for me for a few weeks after I paid for it, and the fun random reboots I experienced. The media noticed, too.

So what, we're not talking about the iphone 3g launch, this is about the Palm Pre launch which people have been shoving down our throats on this forum as some sort of perfect phone, now people are lining up excuses for them just as people were lining up excuses for Apple.

Trust me i have both the iphone and the pre with my right NOW and battery life is identical.
They're idiots just like Apple fanboys who shove the iPhone down everyone's throats. Fanboys annoy me, regardless of who they are raving over.
