Without being mean, this is total crap:

"You need another PC to install the OS" - Whaaaat????
More of these gems can be found in the video.

I first was angry about the video, now I want to cry.

When you click EDIT, there will be a button to the right labeled "MORE OPTIONS". Click that, it will bring up the full editor and you can change the title there.

Easy now, he's just saying what people who are not familiar with the G5 would be thinking if they were handed one of these in 2015. We're affectionate toward this machine because we remember what an incredible system this was when introduced. We have also don't expect 2015 performance from it, so we're understanding of the 'shortcomings" it has in today's internet based world. At the end of the day, Apple is really to blame for dropping G5 support so early. Imagine if G5's had received software support through Lion or Mountain Lion. A longer Universal Binary era obviously wouldn't have made Apple money on newer systems, but we might have been treated to seeing what a G5 really could have matured into.

I just wrote a long rant about this, but Tapatalk is now stuck in a crash loop. But seriously, Apple's case design from 1998-Now is far superior to any beige garbage Dell/HP Etc. rolled out at the time. If you call an iBook, iMac, or PowerMac ugly, you need to see a doctor... Half of the things he said in the video were completely false, and I use my PowerMac for video editing all the time. Also, the guy must not know how to use FireWire or line in... Plus the G5 runs circles around a P4, I'm guessing this guy only pays attention the clock speed.

But if I were going to go to the trouble of making an instructional FAQ G5 video, I might do some research first and maybe provide a few facts instead of absurd inaccuracies....
I think it was meant to be more comical than informative. His irritating voice had notes of sarcasm and a good bit of what he talked about was BS.

The exact same thing happened to me, I wore this massive reply and tapatalk crashed... It was a different thread though. It seems like an iOS 9 bug with a limit to how many characters you can put into a text box, because I was in an agrument on Instagram and I had a lot of words and it crashed.

Anyway, regarding this video, the least this guy could have done was put a little effort and research into it, the G4s and late G3s were so radically different from everything else that was out at the time. And what the hell does a car have to do with inspiring the design. I've never once heard that theory. I had to stop at about two minutes as well because I couldn't stand his voice, or the quality of the video...

Obnoxious mouse acceleration? Oh come on. It's how a mouse should work.
The firewire? Probably was using the wrong cable-- there were quite a few varieties.
And he skipped over the g4 powermac entirely.

lol no, look at some of his other videos. he genuinely means it.
I looked at his YT profile and he's ridiculously pretentious.

LOL.

Anyone who says " OH ESS EX" when talking about OS X is clearly an authority on Apple computers.
I say "Oh ess ex". and I've been using OSX since 10.0 (on an icebook 500 MHz). I also mispronounce linux, and I used that for a number of years beforehand

I too say "Oh ess ex"... I was always under the impression it was "X"... I think saying "ex" is much cooler then 10, because "ex" is the part of extreme XD.

I used to Linux as "Lin Ux", but I have since found out that it is "Line Ux". I've also always up until recently said Ubuntu as "U Bunt To" as opposed to "(short)Ooh Bunt To".

Suppose you move the mouse 5 cm to the right. How far the cursor travels depends on how fast the mouse is moved over this 5 cm distance.. Apparently, Windows doesn't have this feature, or it's not turned on by default.

He could have saved a lot of time and just said "I'm too stupid to use this thing or look up solutions to problems, so it's junk."

Oh. I had no idea this was a feature.
