I too say "Oh ess ex"... I was always under the impression it was "X"... I think saying "ex" is much cooler then 10, because "ex" is the part of extreme XD.

I used to Linux as "Lin Ux", but I have since found out that it is "Line Ux". I've also always up until recently said Ubuntu as "U Bunt To" as opposed to "(short)Ooh Bunt To".

That's how Linus pronounces it so I will too

Even though I'm a few replies late for this, I can't get over how hilarious it is to hear him pronounce the names of the different operating systems. At least he pronounced the names of the Windows versions properly! :) This guy is a big dummy.

Since when does Linus Torvalds pronounce Linux as "line ux"? In every video I have seen him talk about the kernel and the various distros of Linux, he always pronounces it as "linux" with a short i sound. The only changes are sometimes the second vowel that is sometimes a short i or a short u.

BTW, with regard to the whole pronunciation of OS X-I go back and forth between saying X and 10. I think Apple consistently(in keynotes and such) calls it OS 10. The "X" is, of course, the Roman numeral 10 and also designates it as a successor to OS 9. To me, though, "X" also has merit because it was also chosen to indicate the Unix underpinnings. I find it awkward to say "OS 10 10.5.8"(for example) so will often instead say "OS X 10.5.8." Of course, I guess I could just say "OS 10.5.8" which would be unambiguous and also not start a war. Personally, I usually just say Leopard

"Oh Ess Ex" all the way. I think it sounds better than "ten" and I've been saying it for over a decade. Then again, I always hate when people say "oh look at page... .... xxii". No you idiot it's "twenty two". I'm such a hypocrite.

When I took the SATs in high school I learned no one knows/remembers how to write in cursive (for copying the honestly pledge). So much for that education system...

Shame on me for actually believing my elementary and middle school teachers who scared me into learning cursive because "every paper you write in high school and college will have to be in cursive". Lies.

We no joke made this his most popular video... It had 800 views before we got to it

If he boxes clever, he'll do more videos to infuriate people now - seems to be a winning formula!
It amazes me how many people make uninformed and ignorant Youtube videos slamming redundant hardware with no sense of historical persepective - whatever next, a scoop on how hot air balloons are useless for space travel?

That's actually me xD

I didn't bother to reply because he thinks he's hot ****. You just can't win with the guy. He's always right and his logic is better than yours. I linked him to the site so maybe he'd see his opinion is wrong, but all it did was fuel his ego. Pretty bad.

Similar to McJuggernuggets on YouTube. Basically takes advantage of little kids who subscribe to him because his dad smashes all of his video games and consoles, then goes on to say how much it all costs, thus kids feel bad and send the stuff to him like games and full on consoles. He says on multiple occasions that he doesn't want stuff, yet he still accepts all the stuff he is given and even has Fan Mail Monday's... He figured if kids are stupid enough to send stuff to him, he might as well take advantage of them. I only watch his videos because I enjoy watching stuff get destroyed even though it's so fake. (They are all in the Psycho Dad series on his channel...)

Fake or not, (most of) the videos are pretty entertaining! To be honest, if the little kids are naïve enough to send games consoles to a stranger from the Internet, it's not McJuggerNuggets' fault for taking advantage!

Wouldn't be surprised if MatthewLTL was the one who made the video! Did you know you can use magnets to hold hard drives in place?
