I don't have cholesterol problems, so far, but just hate the 'mouth feel', and inconsistency of eating egg dishes. I've had egg breakfasts that were heavenly, so delicious, and had some that were just horrid, gross disgusting YUCK.

I used to sail on a 4-masted schooner, (it was a blast) and got used to eggs (and elephant ears) for breakfast, but couldn't stomach powdered milk. I got them to stock small French yogurt cups when we could find them in port and they were a huge hit with the crew. Some loved the powdered milk, believe it or not, but eggs were easy to store, cook, and had variety potential. But off ship, no eggs for me. URP...

No, just a preventative measure. A lot of males in my fathers side have passed away due to heart related issues.
I don’t know how old you are, but if you get annual physicals as you should ;), you will find out if you have a cholestor problem or not or if over time one develops. And if you don’t, there is no reason to bypass this wonderful and healthy food source. :)

I am a very adventurous eater, and tend to eat lots of flavors, and cuts of meat that don't appeal to the western pallete.

However I hate eggs with a burning passion, and will do anything to avoid eating them on their own.

Sometimethi g about the texture makes me want to instantly throw up.

It really is a shame because I wish I like them. They are actually a really good cheap, and nutritious meal that pairs well with almost anything.

Refer post #173 for the best way to eat eggs. Try to buy organic or a very good quality free range eggs.

I have tried all varieties of eggs including buying them from humane free range farms, and raising my own chickens.

My body has an violent aversion to them no matter what.

I use to like eggs a lot but lately started to feel bit awkward . Sometimes what you find inside them doesn't look right.
I think you need to change where you’re getting eggs from, I would try that before giving up, myself. But I respect your choice. It does sound weird to eat the egg of another species (imagine an alien blockbuster where that’s all they wanted from human females lol)

I like eggs. It's bad for my cholestrol but I like eggs.

I have friends who dislike eating eggs when prepared in a certain way. They lie and say they're allergic when they arent.

They lie out of social convention to be polite and avoid being obnoxious.

I do not mind being condescending so long as the person isn't a liar.

Liars are a big red flag for me.

You need different friends.

Think powered eggs!

Think powered eggs!

I have, unfortunately, had the misfortune to try them. Hard pass...

On a related tangent, people say my dislike of venison was because 'I haven't tasted it done right'. One way to 'do it right' is to mix in large portions of meats from other sources. 'Venison' that is more than 50% pork is actually PORK with deer protein, it's not venison. People mix hamburger in, pork, even chicken and turkey! If it takes that much to make it 'taste good', what are you really doing here... If you have to add that much other meat protein to it to get people to eat it: venison sucks, no matter what people say. :D:cool: (My brother is one of those. He uses over 50% ground sirloin in his 'venison' with no appearance of any guilt)
