Since iPhone 4 i always upgraded when the new designs came out, and skipped the "S" versions
This time the form and design will go on for 3 maybe 4 years in total (if 2020 will be an iPhone 11 S/R/XR)

Really like the product red of iPhone 11, but feels like a downgrade from OLED to LCD.
Still cheaper, newer and hopefully a new design next year?

To even call the 11 Pro a Pro grade device is hysterical. Phil kept on going about their all new design - while its identical to the X with the 3 ugly cameras at the back. Thanks but I am more than happy to still keep my iPhone X PRO from 2018.

While the battery upgrade seems amazing, it is all about the camera. I personally do not take a lot of pictures so it's a wait and see what 2020 brings.

Running out of storage, so I'll likely get the Pro. I was leaning toward the new XR for bigger battery and screen...but the battery improvement for the Pro and the trade in price may entice me to get the Pro.

Another year with the X, if anything were to happen with my phone and I had to buy a new one I’d go with the 11. Didn’t see enough to go “pro”, I don’t care for the telephoto lens as I just shoot wide when using my phones camera.

As someone that wants a smaller sized phone to the 5.8” X, I’ll deal with the bigger size 11 for the cheaper price and colour options. Not sure how I’d feel dropping OLED, will see how dark mode goes when iOS 13 drops.

Staying with the X. Camera was nice but nothing that would justify buying it. I don't use the camera that much to take full advantage of it.

Did notice one item. You can’t trade in a device and start new IUP.
If you have an X on IUP then it will be paid in full. Would not send back and start new plan. Can’t trade it in and start new IUP at lower monthly price.

My iPhone X (preordered and received on launch day) is still running strong, absolutely no reason for me to upgrade. My battery is still at 88% so I don't even need a new battery yet. Its still plenty fast and I love it.

The camera upgrades and the matte glass finish are nice on the iPhone 11 Pro, but definitely not worth the $500 upgrade cost after resaling or trading in my current phone. I will be waiting til 2020 or even 2021 before I look at trading up.

Edit: And lets be honest, while the upgrades to the camera are significant on the new 11 Pro, the X's camera is still no slouch.

I am going to wait to see what the reviews/tests are for the camera. That is the sole reason for me to upgrade or wait till 2020. Everything else was - I can wait.

Apples marketing hype machine aside, nothing in the new phones makes me feel they’re worthy upgrades over the X I use now.

X is super fast still, I have no issues with the pictures it takes, and the battery gets me through the day (as impressive as the new battery is on the pro models)

Plus more or less the same screen, I have no need for it. I’ll never use 1200 nits of brightness most times lol.

For me, a waste of money and a waste of an upgrade when I can shop around for a cheaper BYOD plan and spend my upgrade next year. For others it will be a worthy upgrade.

Buying the 11 pro max. WAY better battery life, amazing camera/ vid camera, bigger and better screen. Not that much $$ really w/ trade in. Trade in 11 pro next year as well if the 2020 version blows me away. Can't see having this same old small phone for yet another year.

Contemplated the Pro. But,... 64Gb base and still Lightning. Oh and it’s £1049.

My X is still pretty nice to be honest. I may reconsider, but I doubt it.

With the $400 trade-in which brings the phone cost to $599, that’s pretty tempting. And thinking of buying it outright. Which means I can still upgrade to the 12 next year, right? I do like the green color.

My X is great. Battery is suffering a little. I got the 256GB but thinking that was a mistake so will get 64GB next time.

Can only purchase outright with Apple trade in. No IUP with trade is available.
