Have you seen both in an Apple Store ? I was sold on the black until I saw it in the flesh , the black SS looked kinda cheap, maybe it was not dark enough , the silver SS looked much better and everyone agreed. The best Looking in my opinion was the silver SS with bracelet, my work mates aslo thought so.

Under the case, the extreme lighting makes it look gunmetal in color. On the wrist and under normal lighting, it looks jet black.

Looks like Phil and I will have something in common. ;):apple:

Yeah I'm just a liar pffffffft.

I didn't say that, but ill informed yes.

None of us know how good this will be, and there is no evidence it will scratch on the corners at all. In fact, the evidence suggests that this will be a very hard coating that will be more durable than SS.

It troubles me just how prickly some of you can be. Nothing personal, just voicing our opinions.

Yes I did think the SS looked better in the case, so trying to find a SB somewhere so that I can compare it on the wrist.

He’s really made that watch look sexy .

Ever since I saw this pic I have been obsessed with the space black variant of the AW.

I’m impressed you went back almost 10 years to make this comment!
🔥 now jet black is the new space black. Only difference is the material- it is made the same way as the jet black iPhone 7 which came out a year after the original Apple Watch.

I’d actually argue now since getting my hands on the slate variant, that it actually looks better than the space black. Especially when coupled with the slate link bracelet.
