I have high efficency enable.
My question is why in some photos Ihave this option and in others no.
If it detects a close subject you lose the outside image
I personally turn it off in Settings-Camera-FormatsI have high efficency enable.

What? I don’t understand sorry!

If your camera detects you’re pointing it at a physically close subject then you lose the outside frame. I don’t know how else to explain it sorry.
HE image quality is borderline trash IMO. Why have these amazing cameras and then remove lots of image data via compression? Why? You loose the 1080 at 240 slow motion

I understand but why does do that? 90% of the time I am pointing to something close!
there is an option in Composition where photos and videos capture outside the frame are: ''Auto-Apply Adjustments'', what does this mean? what is it auto applying?

Same here. Doesn’t work. Any idea ?
AgreeOkay I’m getting more confused now so I can’t use the option outside the frame with Most compatible option but only high efficiency hmmm well I don’t think I will use that then bc I want my photos best quality so I’ll use the most compatible option and not worry about frames.
It doesn't include the portion outside the frame when viewing the photo - only in Edit mode, Crop, etc. Have you tried that? I just tried it and it worked, I was able to include the portion of the photo that was outside the frame when I cropped it.
