I already know I am going to regret this challenge, but let's go anyway. This week, I want to see your favorite. You can interpret this as widely as you want. You can pull from the archives and post your favorite photo you've ever taken, you can post your favorite food, camera, person, flower. Shoot something new in your favorite genre. Whatever. It's all game (assuming you stick to forum rules).
But do post a couple word description of the favorite if it isn't inherently obvious.

Standard rules apply.

Follow all relevant local laws regarding stay-at-home orders. If you can't go outside, try and take a photo at home or grab one from the archives.

· Do not comment, vote, react or click “like” on images prior to the winners being announced.

· The photographs must be your own work.

· You may only submit one photo per contest.

· This contest runs for one week. If in doubt, check the dates in the title.

· At the end of the week, The Judge will choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible.

· If the Judge is unable to complete the selection within 48 hours of the deadline, then last week's 2nd place has to step in. 3rd place takes over should 2nd place be similarly unable to officiate.

· The 1st place Winner will start a new thread with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the Judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create a new theme, after that it defers to 2nd place).

· Be sure to update the Contest Master List as soon as you post a new theme.

I have so many favorites difficult to choose, but this one stands out as different. This is kind of a love/hate. It was a dreary overcast day in Lucerne, CH. However, discovered the beauty of the evening when walking to a Mendelssohn concern in a nearby church on Easter Weekend. Love the composition of the medieval wooden bridge as it stretches across the frame, and of course, the reflections. Dislike the the photographic quality with the noise in the dark areas from the high ISO. As I perfect my painting skills, this is a perfect candidate.

I don't have a favorite image. This is my favorite image not in my style. We were given a macro assignment in a photo group I'm in. I decided to go with a table top still life. I almost never shoot macros nor still lifes (or is it still lives?)
EDIT: Wikipedia says still lifes.

Now choosing my favourite out of all pictures will be a challenge I don’t want to go through right now.

But on my present nomad style trip this one has become one of my favourites so far.

Tough to pick a favorite , but this is certainly one of them . Taken in Monument Valley a few years back . I'd hired one of the locals to take me out at sunrise . Well worth it as we were able to get into areas closed off to the general population of tourists . Probably took 500 shots that day . Good thing I wasn't using film !

Last day! Judging tomorrow! (Hopefully, weekends are tricky for me to get online, but I'll try to do some of my critiques this afternoon for those of you who have already entered. Then I can just cut and paste.)

The best camera is the one with you.
Driving home this guy was in the road, I stopped and he ran off.
I pulled over, followed him, saw him go into his home, bottom of tree. Took some with and without flash, this without. October 26, 2010, yea pre Covid19 for sure. Canon T1i, 15-85 lens, my first DSLR.
