The picture thread sticky is quite out of date and long so I thought it would be helpful to do one just for the Weekly Photo contests. If the winner of each weekly would add their new contest to this post, I think it would be fairly easy to maintain.

I think from Jan 2015 is a good place to start but if anyone wants to add 2014, that's fine by me. (I hope our non-US participants don't mind my date naming convention!)

Nicely done. That's a great reference point for everyone as I can never remember if a subject has been chosen before. Good work :)

Brilliant idea and thanks for taking the time to do this, @E3BK; it should serve as a most useful reference source and primer.

Agree absolutely. Very useful, especially if one needs to tweak a theme from earlier.

OK!! The mods turned this post into a Wiki so it can be updated by anyone with the creds to do so. I guess they don't normally allow Wiki's in the DP sub-forum but they found a way to do it for this one :). Maybe they can turn it into a sticky also!

A sticky would be a great idea. Good job on the thread.

There was no contest in your line "June 12 - 17: unknown". There was a larger than usual gap as one of the runners up had to step in. Tried to modify it but couldn't see how.

Hope that helps your timeline! :)

You should just be able to hit edit just like you can do on your own posts. Does that not work?

I don't have an edit button for that post. Anyone else have one?

Having read that this is a wiki, - again, a terrific idea - I also thought to look for an "edit" button but couldn't find it.

I daresay once the Mods have been notified, it will make a welcome appearance before too long.

Apparently only @arn can modify a Wiki according to the mods. They have notified him to sort it out.

Thanks @arn !! See the first post's been turned into a Wiki. It's our new WeeklyWiki!!! :) Still no edit button though. Do you have to give each person permission E3BK?

@Ish - there's nothing I can do on my end. the DP sub-forum doesn't usually have wiki's but @maflynn was able to turn it into one for me. But that may be why it's still not editable by others here as I'm positive you all have the credential to modify wiki's in other subforms.

I try to check in on it to update but glad we are still a team effort! Maybe we should add a line to the Weekly Contest rules for the winner to add their contest to the master list?

Why not ? Throw it out to the masses and see if there's agreement .
