Oh for christ's sake.
It just doesn't look like an Apple product to me, it's completely lacking the typical finesse we expect from their designs.. It's too boxy and generic looking.

It's just a software update, hence, it will be on your computer.



... for which you will pay money. Like the iPod touch apps package. However, to clarify, the software update will be delivered via iTunes, not via the iPhone itself.
You bought your phone, you own it. They don't take back your old MacBook Pro when they release a new one, why on earth would they take back your phone? You want a new generation iPhone? You're going to have to palm the old one off on someone else, ditch it, or hang onto it as a spare. Just like your computer.
P.S. Fake. And ugly. And very cheap looking. Screen looks more like plastic than glass, although that could just be the swirling/scratches. Apple is far better than this.

A French blog posted these photos purporting to be the upcoming 3G-capable iPhone. The appearance roughly matches circulating rumors of a plastic backed iPhone.
The original article claims the photos were sent in from an anonymous source and that they have no idea if they are true or not. Typically "leaked photos" are rarely legitimate.
