Photo of iPad Enclosure with Dual Dock Connectors

I could't imagine holding the iPad up to take a picture. I'd imagine it would have a front facing camera if anything.

Get rid of all docking ports, sync over wifi, power with a mag safe connector.

Amen!
Although WIFI can be a big pain to set up in a secure manner and we all know how bad Time Machine backups over WIFI get corrupted way too easily.

it's a stupid idea to have dual dock connectors.
why do you need to dock in landscape?
you can still see everything when the ipad is docked in portrait.

Some people might like the option of using the iPad as a digital photo frame while it charges/sits idle, say in the kitchen or living room.

It's clearly not the "current" design at least

THe current design is curved/tapered on the back... that one is square-cut. So, the one marked "Current" is clearly not so either.

Prototypes? Next-Gen? Maybe... but neither are production models.

Old design

This was the original design concept that was scrapped and all units which had two docks were destroyed. BTW, at the time, two case options were being designed which would have supported either of the docks. Single dock reduced case options as well.

Good Photoshop skills.....

this photo doesnt even look real. it looks photoshopped to me. whats the point of that?

Photo does not need to be fake.

Just take a non working iPad and machine the port for the docking connector in the side. Place it face down, take a pic.

For all we know this could be just the hard cases with absolutely no internals. This can be faked all day long.

Now, some vid of a working iPad being synced from both connectors and then Ill believe it.

On Mission:Repairs blog, there is a picture of the inside. This is real, it is not going to to be the next model, but obviously is a prototype BACK PLATE, that was scraped, (not a working model) witch I am sure before they made millions, they made a couple to try out. Why would anyone photoshop this.
