Thought I had posted this previously but a quick review shows otherwise.
Ayers Natural Bridge and Box Elder Canyon about 30 miles east and maybe 15miles south of Casper, WY. An incredibly peaceful green cool oasis in a hot semi-arid region.

I also wish to offer my condoleance, it is hard to talk about these thigns on a public forum I know. @AlaskaMoose you certainly have a loving and close knit family.
.. a small version of a usually rather large shrub .. standing tall (with a few other floral friends) and looking good for a photo yesterday morning.

I usually don't post photos of people, specially of family and friends as this one. Ian was his name, my loving son who passed away on Saint Patricks Day at the age of 38. I was lucky enough to take this impromptu photo of Ian a few years ago when he was grilling hamburgers for his coworkers on a rainy day. He was my oldest son.
i think it was very kind of you to remove your pun and i’m sure, based on your posting history, that no one expected it to be otherwise inappropriate.
This is how I first saw the cormorant whose headshot I posted yesterday:
I had a blue parakeet just like the one in the window when was a kid. We used to let it fly around the house. His name was Patrick until he laid an egg! Silly bird would land on my cereal bowl and pickup pieces of shredded wheat and twiddle them in it's beak.

As you probably figured out, I made the pun and afterwards I start reading the post and realized that this would be quite disrespectful, just moments after members here talk about their loss of their loved ones.
Like i didn’t care, and I DO care.
So that was the reason that I deleted it.
And maybe I misunderstood it all, and most likely in my own mind, but I did get the feeling that some of the members here thought I made a pun of their sorrow, which I never did, and never gonna do.
