Very nice image and a sweet dog...

As suggested I added some "eye power" to this image and it does show more of the dogs personality. Used Nik's Viveza2 to bring out the eyes. Hope you don't mind my tweaking...

It's great to see what a very small retouch can do to drastically increase the appeal of an image.

This is a nice image. I like the post processing that you have done on this.
Any chance of revealing what processing you did to get the look to the image please?

Just guessing:
- Increased Contrast / Saturation
- Added Vignette Effect

One of the Windermere 'steamers'...

I love this. Great spots of color you have in the frame. For me, the focal point is undecided, I am drawn to the purple in the bushes, and the boat. It's good that way. You look at the boat and think, "That's cool", and then you are drawn into the pretty bushes. It's a great photo. One of my favorites from you yet!

+1 Yah, just basic curves and some saturation sliders. Nothing huge. I am really loving the 24-70 though. So glad I bought it! : ) I really want a super telephoto someday soon though, I envy you guys on your long shots in this thread!

It's tough warranting a $6k drop on a 500mm telephoto lens. Desirable, but eh, SO much.
