deja vu!

The reason I have really sore legs today:

That is just fantastic.

Here's one from yesterday. It poured with rain in the afternoon, but then cleared up to give a lovely late Summer evening. We took the dogs out to Newlands Corner near Guildford for a walk and were rewarded with some lovely views South over the Surrey Hills.

Although there is a heard+ of Tule Elk on Pt. Reyes, I think what you have there is a black tailed deer.
Probably paid to be there by the real elk to deceive the tourists . Only thing I know about deer is they used to eat my landscaping when I lived up in the hills ...OK , let's try these . Taken in the Elk reserve at Tomales Pt.

Doylem, I always love your images and saw this scene the other day and tried to capture it as best I could as you would!

Cheers for the inspiration!

Oh and some feedback would be great, I realise it's not perfect but I quite like it!

^^^ Great contrast between the warm & cold colours...

Garrigil...

Contrast between sunlight and cloud cover: at first I thought those sun-lite sheep were dust on your lens ... :p

Doylem (a contributor here for years and you always seem to surprise) ... handsomely fine work as always.

Consecutive Post Four

There are a few things going on here. One is posting more than one photo per day and the other is consecutive posting.

More than one image per day will get messages like this from people like me. Consecutive posting will get you permanent warnings from one of the Moderators. I'm not a mod, just a voice in the distance.

Great shot... with the rocks in front like curtains opening up to reveal the view...

Thanks for the compliment. Shooting a scene like me means standing around, then standing around some more, staring at the clouds for a bit, then a bit more standing around... ;)

Feedback? I'm kinda looking for a subject in your pic, with the eye wandering round the picture space looking for somewhere to 'land'...

Ok, there they are. ;)

Now that they are out of velvet I need to make a special trip out there to try and capture some for myself.

Back to the Bay

Visited some friends by the Chesapeake a few weekends back and spent some time catching dinner. This one wasn't quite large enough to keep so it was sent back, but not before I took a mug shot.

I like the angle on this shot, you did a great job with a busy scene.

Thanks, sprtnbsblplya (is that short for sportin' baseball player?) I appreciate the nice comment. While the scene is somewhat busy with all the lines and masts of boats, etc, it was remarkable calm and quiet at that time of day... Welcome to the forum... :)
