Here is a chopper (I don't know what kind) flying in front of the smoke it just created by firing round into barrels at an Israeli Air Show. C&C appreciated.

My sister's cat Oreo. One of the first pictures I took with my D60 the day I got it a couple Christmases ago...

I feel that if you straighten the horizon, it will make a world of difference. :)

...But then again, the buildings wouldn't actually be straight, would they? hrmmm. Something just seems slightly off...

I agree with NintendoChick about the tilt of the horizon. It's either too much or not enough--it's in that in-between place that seems unintentional and therefore distracting. I think there is probably enough variation in the buildings to make the symmetry of the photo work, but I'd really like to see more detail in your central tower; it's very much the focus of the composition, yet it's basically a void of crushed shadows. Nice choice of black-and-white for this shot, though.

Thanks for the C&C. I didn't give much attention to the horizon (I know I should have). Tried editing the photo. Is this one better? Thanks:)

Canon 7D with 70-300 at 210mm; 1/320 @ f8; ISO 200

Volleyball at sunset at Spanish Banks

Exceptional photograph! The colors are great, and just the whole ambience. It evokes a great sense of place. I'm curious as to how the original looked before processing, though you obviously don't have to share it.

You may not believe it, but all I did was apply some typical sharpening to it in Aperture. I didn't touch the saturation and exposure. It was pretty cool to see with the naked eye and the camera/lens captured it well.

Here's one for today (taken the same night but looking the other direction)...
