I've tried the trial version of Elements and didn't really like its workflow, compared to Lightroom, although I do want to get it for Panoramas, so I may go that route eventually.

Thanks!

Apologies, I guess Dropbox is now blocking image hosting.

Here's my edit, all of this can be achieved in Elements.

Edit - looking at this with fresh eyes, I think I prefer this photo in black and white! I used Silver Efex Pro for the conversion.

Aren't pics if the day supposed to be

Taken that day at least? Or thereabouts?

Back cataloging doesn't encourage photography.

Same picture as yesterday, just a lightly different crop and after attacking it with the use of curves in Lightroom. I'm trying to learn to do as much as possible within Lightroom only, no use of add-on packs like the NIK suite, etc... Obviously it is still necessary for certain pictures to go to Photoshop, for the control and manipulation it enables, but I'm impressed by just how much Lightroom alone can actually achieve.

I much prefer this version to yesterdays.

LR5 can certainly do a lot but I wouldn't be without my plugins. Personally I prefer yesterday's version.
