The theme now is reflections. All these were long exposures taken in Long Beach, CA this past Sunday.

You have to know by now that I love Puffins. I sat in the same spot and watched the guys for a couple hours. Well done themumu.

I had my left eye done last week and the right will probably be done in two or three weeks. There have been two previous "procedures" to remove rough stuff from the surface of each eye in preparation for this, so it's been going on all Summer. My wife broke her leg in May, so actually since then. The strangest part is that now my vision is better in my left eye, but I still need to wear my glasses for my right, so it's all messed up...:roll eyes:

I've been keeping myself busy around the house building model cars and working on this '68 Mustang that I want to take to the drag strip next Summer.

I have stuff in my archive that I should dig out and post.

Thanks Cheese! I appreciate the compliment. I too feel like I've been progressing by leaps and bounds in the past few weeks.
My shots are still not where I want them to be, specially composition-wise, but I'm learning something new every day.

I shot it at the Armory Show art fair in New York. It is part of my street photography project, People of a Kind (www.peopleofakind.com), a collection of faces, looks and styles that I find interesting, for a reason or another.

It was shot with a 5dMkII

When I visited Italy I have made a life changing discovery: a sandwich with a glass of wine makes a much more fulfilling breakfast than a croissant with a cup of coffee. Especially if you don't have to go to work afterwards and can just continue on your wine tasting, I mean holiday.
